Channel lettering gives a name a clear dimensional form with integrated illumination. It is a useful direction for retail and restaurant signage where the letter shapes need to carry the identity.
Backlit letters place the glow behind the lettering. The wall, the spacing and the surrounding light all influence the effect, so an installation photograph is a useful part of the design conversation.
